Prep Time -10 Minutes.
Cook Time:25 Minutes.
Ingredients:
- 500gm-Cauliflower(Gobi)
- 1-Onion ,chopped
- 1-Inch fresh ginger
- 2-Large tomatoes( boiled and mashed)
- 2-3-Large potatoes(boiled and mashed)
- 1-2- Green chillies,chopped
- 1 tbs-Turmeric powder
- 1 tbs-Cumin seeds
- 1 tbs- Dry fengureek leaves
- 1-Cup water
- 1-Cup of full cream
- 1/2- Cup of green coriander leaves,chopped
- Salt to taste
- Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets,and rinse the cauliflower florets very well in running water.and bring a pot of salted water to the boil and add your cauliflower.bring back to the boil for 5 minutes,then remove the florets with slotted spoon and leave in a colander.
- Heat oil in to a pan and shallow fry cauliflower (gobi) until it gets brown, cook for approximately 7-8 minutes.once done,place it on a lining with paper towel plate, because paper towel absorbed the extra oil from the cauliflower.
- In the same pan you fried cauliflower,heat little more oil,add cumin seeds,and when cumin seeds start crackling then add onion ,fry till onion become light brown and then add green chillies and all powder spices like garam masala, dry fengureek leaves , and salt to taste and mix well and pour the tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat on until tomato release its juice, and oil start to separate,add turmeric powder,salt to taste.mix all well and string.
- And add mashed potatoes and mix well and add cream mix well and add one cup of water mix and cook for 5 minutes. and string continuously, and add fried cauliflower and mix well and cook for 7-8 minutes on low heat and then decoration with green coriander
- Serve with Roti and Naan..
