Ingredients:
For the Dough.....
- 2 Cup-Whole wheat flour
- 1 tbs-Oil
- 1 Cup-Water,as needed for kneading
- 2 Cup -Fresh fenugreek (methi) leaves chopped
- 3- Potatoes boiled,mashed
- 1/2 tbs-Red chilli
- 1/2 tbs -Garam masala
- 1/2 tbs-Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil/Ghee-As required for roasting
Direction: How To Cook This Recipe.
- Take a wide mixing bowl,and put flour in the bowl and add water little at a time and prepare a soft dough and add oil for more softness and good texture of dough, and cover it and keep it rest for 10 minutes.
- Now prepare stuffing for paratha, mix mashed potatoes, chopped methi (fenugreek) finely chopped, add red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt to taste, mix everything well
- Now make small ball out of dough and roll out the ball in a small circle.
- Add some stuffing in the centre and gather all the corners and seal it well and press it lightly and make roti, don't put too much pressure.
- Heat a tawa,put the rolled out paratha on it, let it cook little bit on one side.
- Flip it over to the other side and spread some oil/ghee over the paratha which is half coked.
- Flip it again, when the second side is half cooked and spread some more oil/ghee.
- Flip it again, do it couple of times to get paratha browned and cooked well.
- Serve warm with yogurt/butter.
