Methi (GreenFenugreek) Makki(Corn Flour)Roti Recipe.




Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 1-2 Minutes per roti

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup-Makki flour(Corn flour)(Maize flour)
  • 1/2 Cup-Methi(Green fenugreek)chopped
  • 1/3 Cup-Wheat flour
  • 1 tsp-Salt or salt to taste
  • 1 tbs-Turmeric powder
  • Warm water as needed to bind the dough
  • Oil-For shallow frying
Direction:How To Make.



  • Sieve the corn flour in a large bowl,add finely chopped methi,salt to taste,turmeric powder,wheat flour,add warm water little by little and knead a little stiff and smooth dough. Don't over knead the dough otherwise rotis will not be nice and soft(this dough cant be kept after making,so make it just before you start making)



  • Make a equal portion balls, wet your palms with drops of water and make round shaped balls from each portion.
  • Place one each balls over rolling board ,press the dough ball a little with your palms and flatten it.
  • Using your hands,spread to dough ball around making it look like a disc. 
  • Or you make roti with hands,start flattening the dough between the palms of your hands, and slowly make it like a  disc
  • Simultaneously start heating the tawa over medium flame.



  • Gently transfer the rolled roti over your palm place the rolled roti over heated tawa and cook it for a minutes.
  • Flip it with spatula and spread few drop of oil over it.
  • Again,flip it after about a minutes and spread oil over upper side,flip and cook until light brown spots appears in both side.
  • Transfer it to a plate and eat with your favourite sabzi or yogurt or butter.
