Cook Time :15 Minutes.
Ingredients:
1 Cup-Oats
1 Cup-Moong Lentil (Soaked) Split Green Gram
1 Cup-Green pea
1 Cup-Carrot,chopped
1 -Tomato chopped
1 -Onion chopped
4 Cup-Water or according to requirement
1 tbs-Turmeric powder
1 tbs-Dry fenugreek leaves
1 tbs-Cumin seeds
1 tbs-Butter for cooking
Salt to taste.
Direction: How To Cook.
- Soak split green gram in water for a couple hour.
- Heat a butter in pressure cooker and add chopped onion and saute for 1 minutes and then add dry fenugreek leaves,turmeric powder,cumin seeds,salt to taste and mix well and saute for 2 minutes.
- And then split gram,oats,pea,carrot,tomato and add water and mix well.
- And then cover the cooker with its lid and pressure cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes.
- When pressure settles down on its own,remove the lid and stir the oats khichdi.
- Serve oats khichdi hot or warm with yogurt,salad
