Til(Sesame) Ka Laddu.


Sesame Laddu


Cooking Time:7-8 Minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup-Sesame seeds(Til)
  • 1 Cup-Grated Jaggery
  • 1/3 Cup-Ghee
  • 1 tbs-Water
  • 1 tbs- green cardamom powder.


Direction: How To Make  Til(Sesame) Laddu.

  • Heat a pan and sesame seeds in it,the pan should not bee hot,but on  a low heat.
  • The sesame seeds pop and change color on a low flame this takes about 3 to 4  minutes.

  • And then remove and keep aside in a plate.

  • And then in the same pan  add ghee  and add jaggery and 1 tbs water,keep on stirring the jaggery so that it dissolves, on a low flame simmer this jaggery will start bubbling first,you have to continue to cook till you come to a soft ball stage in the jaggery solution.

  • To check the soft ball stage,take 1 tbs water in a small bowl,drop a bit of jaggery it and it should be sticky and form itself in a soft ball..



  •  And then switch off the flame and the dry roasted sesame seeds and cardamom powder.


  • Mix the dry roasted mixture with the jaggery solution very well.
  • Keep the pan down.

  • Grease your palms with ghee or wet the palms with cold water,start making small balls with the mixture,don't wait until the mixture cool down completely,it will be hard to make balls.
  • Store the sesame laddu in a airtight container.
