Poha (Rice flakes) Recipe.



 Cooking Time:10 mints
Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup-Chivda(Rice flake)
  • 1 tbs-Mustard seeds
  • 1 -Medium onion chopped
  • 1/4- Cup-Green Curry leaves
  • 1/2- Cup- Boiled green pea
  • 1-Tomato chopped
  • 1 tbs- Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbs-Tomato paste
  • 1 tbs- Tamarind  paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbs-Pea nut
  • 2 tbs- Ricotta cheese(paneer)
  • 2 tbs -Water
  • 1 tbs-Cooking oil
Direction: How To Cook This:

  • Firstly,rinse(rice flakes) quickly with water,drain the water completely.
  • Set a side to soften .





  • Now heat the oil in the pan and add mustard seeds when they start crackling add onion and cook for till they become light brown and now add green curry leaves and cook for 1-2 minutes, and now add green pea and cook for 3 minutes  and then add chopped tomato and cook for another minute.
  • And then add tomato paste,turmeric powder,tamarind paste and salt and mix well.




  • And then add poha(rice flakes) and peanut and ricotta cheese(paneer) and  2 tbs water mix well.
  • And cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
  • After that switch off the flame

  • Serve immediately with Tea and roasted bread .
