Ingredients:
- 3 Cup Atta (Whole wheat flour)
- 1 Cup fresh methi leaves (chopped)
- Salt as per taste
- Red pepper as per requirement
- 1tbsp-Turmeric Powder
- 1tbsp- Oil for kneading
- Warm water for kneading
Directions:
Step 2: Make small lemon sized balls and dust flour and roll them to round shapes of not very thin and thick.
Step 3: Heat the tawa till hot on medium high flame. Dust off the excess flour from the roti & put it on the tawa.
Step 4: When it begins to puff, take a kitchen towel and a wooden spoon and press lightly to help in puffing. Drizzle some oil or ghee as per your choice.
Step 5: Flip it to the other side, repeat to press and cook till they are slightly browned. Put them one over the other to keep them soft during storage.
Step 6: When you are done with all the rotis, cover them to keep them soft.
Step 7: Serve methi roti with Butter, Yogurt and/or Pickle.
