Instant Buttermilk Curry


Total Time:5-8 Minutes.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cup-Curd/Buttermilk
  • 1- Onion-slicing cutting 
  • 1-2 -Green chillies
  • 1 tbs- Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbs - Dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1 tbs- Cumin seeds
  • 1/2-tbs -Tomato paste 
  • Salt to taste.
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 Cup- or add more water for making  good consistency of buttermilk
Direction: How To Cook This Recipe.
  1. Beat the curd together with some water or make a buttermilk.
  2. Heat oil in a pan/kadai, add cumin seeds,when it splutters,add onion fry till it become light brown and add dry fenugreek leaves,green chilli,  (add tomato paste- for making sour curry-its optional) and add turmeric powder,salt to taste and cook these stuff for 2 minutes and add the whisked buttermilk.
  3. Let it warm through for about 3-4 minutes.Keep stirring constantly till you see steam coming out.Be careful to,don't let it boil,otherwise the curd will curdle, switch  off the flame.And garnish with, chopped fresh coriander.
  4. Serve this curry warm with some white rice or Roti.
