Ghee From Butter Recipe




Total Time:10-15- Minutes.


Ingredients:

  • 50 grams - The best quality butter unsalted ,organic and grass fed.(you can increase the quantity of butter)

  • Cut your butter into pieces,this will help your butter melt faster.
  • Heat the pan on low flame until butter melts completely ,when the butter melts then set the flame to medium and stirring it slowly from time to time.
  • Soon you will see a thick white foam start to form at the surface.
  • Reduce to a simmer.
  • Cook for 10 minutes.during this time ,the butter will go through several stage.it will foam,then bubble and then seem to almost stop bubbling and then foam again,when the second foam occur,the ghee is done,at this stage,the melted butter should be bright gold in colour and there  should be reddish brown pieces of milk solids at the bottom of the pan.
  • Let the ghee cool for 2-3 minutes and then slowly pour through a wire strainer lined with  layers of cheesecloth. The small bits of milk protein are usually  discarded.
  • So its home made ghee is ready and  filled in glass jar.
  • You can use ghee in several variety of cooking 
  • Its very healthy.
