Vegetable Pulao Recipe



Total Time:20 Minutes.

Ingredients:
  • 2 Cup-Basmati rice
  • 1 Cup-Green  beans chopped
  • 1 Cup-Green Pea
  • 1 Cup-Paneer(cheese) cubes
  • 1 Cup-Potato cut into dice pieces
  • 1-Onion chopped
  • 1 tbs-Ginger,chopped
  • 1 tsp-Red chilli powder
  • 1 tbs-Dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1 tbs-Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbs-Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbs- Oil for cooking
  • 4-1/2 Cup-Water
  • Salt to taste
Direction:How To Cook This:



  • Soak the rice in enough water for 15 minutes,drain and keep a side.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds when cumin seeds start crackling then add the onion and saute them till golden and then add ginger,red chilli powder ,turmeric powder ,dry fengureek leaves and salt to taste ,saute for 2-3 minutes.



  • And then add beans and pea and saute for 5-6 minutes and then add paneer(cheese) saute again 2-3 minutes and then add drained rice and saute for 2 minutes on low flame and add pour water and stir.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes on low flame,till the water is absorbed and the rice is well cooked.
  • Check in between  a few times to check if the water is enough,depending on the quality of rice,you may need to add less or more water.
  • Once the rice grains are cooked,it becomes fluff.
  • Serve the veg pulao hot with yogurt raita(Dip)
