Prep Time:15 Minutes.
Cook Time:1 or 2 minutes per roti.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups-Whole;e wheat flour
- 250 grams-Spinach
- 1 tsp-Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying roti
Direction:How To Cook.
- Rinse the spinach leaves in water and drain them.
- And roughly chop them.
- And boil the spinach leaves in hot water for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Strain and keep some of the stock in which we have boiled the spinach leaves.
- Puree the spinach in a blender.
- And then in a large boil mix the whole wheat flour with salt and add spinach puree and mix well.
- And add required amount of stock or water and make a smooth dough
- Take a medium size ball from the dough ,roll the dough ball in to circle shape.
- And place the spinach roti on a hot tava.
- Once you see some bubbles on the roti and then flip it.
- Drizzle some oil on the top side for roasting the roti.
- When the second half cooked then flip again.
- Again apply some oil on the top of other side.
- Press the roti from all sides and cook it well on both sides.
- Make all spinach roti this way.
- Serve the spinach roti with butter or yogurt or Sabzi .
