Cooking Time:2 minutes per roti.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup-Beetroot,grated
- 2 and half Cup-Wheat flour
- Water for kneading
- Oil
Direction:How To Cook
- First peel the beetroot and grate it
- In a bowl take whole wheat flour and add grated beetroot and mix well, now add little water at a time and keep kneading till you get smooth and soft dough.
- Cover the dough for 8-10 minutes.
- And then take small portion of the dough and make a smooth ball out of it and roll it using a rolling pin just like rotis.
- Cook the rotis on a heated tawa,use some oil or ghee for cooking,press slightly both the sides.
- Flip again once or twice till both the sides and cooked properly.
- Finally serve beetroot roti with Raita (Yogurt dip)and pickle.
