Stuffed Bread Pakoda Recipe.







Cooking Time:15 Minutes.

Ingredients:


  • 6 slices bread
  • 3-4-Medium potato ,boiled,mashed
  • 2-3 Cup-Gram flour(besan)
  • 1 tbs- Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Medium-Chopped onion
  • 1 tbs- Caramin seeds(Ajwain)
  • 2 tbs- Ginger chopped
  • 1 tbs-Dried fenugreek leaves
  • Coriander,mint chutney
  • Tomato sauces
  • Water
  • Oil for deep frying.
Direction: How To Cook.

  • For green chutney,wash 1/2 cup coriander and 1/2 cup mint leaves   and roughly chop them and take the chopped coriander leaves,chopped mint ,small onion,salt , 1 tbs ginger,2 tbs sugar in a grinder jar and add 1 or 2 tsp water and grind to smooth chutney and remove the chutney in a bowl and keep side.
Making Stuffing for Bread Pakoda:









  • Steam or boil potatoes  and mash them well and heat oil in a pan  and then add cumin seeds when they start crackling and then add  onion and saute for 2-3 minutes and then add salt,dried fenugreek leaves,turmeric powder and mix well and then add 1 tbs  green chutney and mix well,switch off the flame.cool this.
How To Make Bread Pakoda:
















  • Arrange 2 bread slices on a chopping board
  • Place the green chutney over bread slices and then tomato sauce and then place the potato mix,cover each slice with another one.
  • Press gently and cut each sandwich to 2 triangles and you can also cut in 4 triangle and set these aside.and continue this process with other bread.
  • Heat oil in a pan for deep frying,while the oil heats prepare the batter, in the bowl,mix together besan(gram flour),caramin seeds,salt,turmeric powder,chopped ginger,pour water just enough to make the batter ,this is not thick or not too thin.
  • Check if the oil is hot by dropping a little amount of batter in the oil,the batter has to rise without browning.
  • Place each cut slices in the batter and drop gently in the hot oil.
  • Fry bread pakoda until golden on both sides on a medium heat,flip when one side is golden and fry.
  • Repeat frying the rest of bread pakoda,drain on a kitchen tissue.
  • Serve bread pakoda hot or warm with green chutney or sauce or tea.
