Total Time:5-8 Minutes.
Ingredients:
- 2 cup-Curd/Buttermilk
- 1- Onion-slicing cutting
- 1-2 -Green chillies
- 1 tbs- Turmeric powder
- 1 tbs - Dry fenugreek leaves
- 1 tbs- Cumin seeds
- 1/2-tbs -Tomato paste
- Salt to taste.
- Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1 Cup- or add more water for making good consistency of buttermilk
- Beat the curd together with some water or make a buttermilk.
- Heat oil in a pan/kadai, add cumin seeds,when it splutters,add onion fry till it become light brown and add dry fenugreek leaves,green chilli, (add tomato paste- for making sour curry-its optional) and add turmeric powder,salt to taste and cook these stuff for 2 minutes and add the whisked buttermilk.
- Let it warm through for about 3-4 minutes.Keep stirring constantly till you see steam coming out.Be careful to,don't let it boil,otherwise the curd will curdle, switch off the flame.And garnish with, chopped fresh coriander.
- Serve this curry warm with some white rice or Roti.
